More Than a Game
Illinois State Rugby has been building athletes, leaders, and lifelong friendships for over 50 years. From the first men’s side in 1971 to the women’s program in 1976, hundreds of players have stepped onto the pitch — many discovering the sport for the first time and leaving with bonds that last a lifetime.
Today, the ISURFC Alumni Association exists to carry that tradition forward — supporting current players with the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to succeed
